Songs off your lips.

From what depth do you draw the magic words

To say to a soul burnt

What medical prowess do you procure

To heal a body hurt?

How do you tell a child to look to the hill

From whence help comes

When the valley offers solace

Whispering "you're not alone"?

Mother, it was from your lips I first heard

The longings of the heart

From your eyes, I learnt that

The world was hard.

As your words danced before my face

I knew the day had come, for

To take the bull by the horns

I must unleash the tiger.

But mother, I failed to dance

To the tune of the marketplace

Now my wares are left unsold

To whom do I sing this song of woe?

My back is bent, failure beckons

Her voice, the lulls of a thousand waters

And like other days, my heart beats with its rhythm

But my feet refused to dance along.

Wetin concern bicycle with fuel station?😂
